• Prof. Altintas' book's "Manufacturing Automation" second edition has been published

• Prof. Altintas was invited to give a talk on Virtual Machining Research at UBC and NSERC CANRIMT Network ( Nov. 26, 2011).
• Prof. Altintas gave one week long advanced machining principles course to the senior machine tool design engineers in Taiwan (November 21-25, 2011).
